New Grantura and Griffith chassis, bodies, parts and more

Message par RetroRaceCar »

Hello,

We (Retro Racecar) build, sell and race new TVR Grantura MkIIIs and Griffith 200s and 400s. Ivan owns the company, he bought a Grantura MkIII to race when he realised his FIA MGB used the same engine but was a lot heavier. After a few races, he realised he could use his engineering experience to make the car lighter, stronger and better. He bought a chassis jig and then a body mould, exactly measured each chassis part and bracket and built a new one and hasn't stopped - he now makes exhaust systems, fuel tanks, multi-link steering columns, hubs, uprights, brake carriers, wishbones, removable dashboards, door hinges, window surrounds and lots more. Even the bodies have separate floor panels so it's possible to remove easily from the chassis. And over the last two years he built two brand-new Griffith race cars, winning the first race they entered this year.

At the moment we're building a new Grantura MkIII race car that will be ready to race and for sale at the end of summer 2023. We're also converting a 1800S project to early Griffith specification and converting Ivan's Grantura MkIII race car to be a fast road car, ready to drive on events and take to shows in 2023, including Le Mans Classic. Even as the car is being converted there are new opportunities to develop more parts like headlining, interior trim etc.

We can supply parts, kits of parts (we recently supplied a customer with chassis, body and almost everything else to build a race car except engine and gearbox) and complete cars. Chassis are bare metal or powder coated in your choice of colour. Bodywork can also be supplied bare or painted a colour of your choice.

We are on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/retroracecar

Our website is still being built and will soon be running properly here: https://retroracecar.com/

The Retro Racecar business has grown from Ivan wanting to race his TVR, so we'll post more about racing and driving old TVRs. Please follow us or have a look at our posts.

We are happy to ship to France. Please contact Ivan or Simon with any requirements: [email protected]
